Does RocketNet support IPv6?
The short answer to your question is, Yes and No.
RocketNet does provide IPv6 addresses and support to customers on request, but currently only through a static assignment of a /64 subnet. DHCP Prefix Delegation has proven to be an issue on our current infrastructure due to Vendor limitations, however, we hope to have this resolved soon.
IPv6 address space is provided through a static /64 prefix assignment which is routed to you over your PPPOE connection. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide support to customers choosing to make use of IPv6 as this is optional and includes many variances in router support and knowledge.
Note: We currently do not support IPv6 over Vumtel’s Active Ethernet service.
IPv6 Support is currently in Beta, and can change at any time.
